Employee Assistance Services
Employee Assistance Counseling (EAP) services are provided to clients seeking individual, couples, or family solution focused counseling. EAP plans provide free services to the client with a specific number of sessions permitted by the employee's company plan. Employees, couples, or their families, choose EAP services for addressing non-medical issues such as stress management, relationship challenges, grief, anger management, communication and conflict resolution strategies, marriage enrichment, parenting education, time management, work-life balance, and other areas appropriate through EAP services.

Life and Executive Coaching
Through Life and Executive Coaching the client discovers their true potential and develops goals for creating positive changes in life. In coaching, the client doesn't have as a focus working through past difficult situations. They will work together, with the coach, for gaining better understanding of their challenges and move through their chosen goals desired for their coaching experience. By applying complementary, individualized, and varied coaching approaches and strategies, the coaching client will unearth prior blocks for change by developing new ways for creating a life they desire with new focus.
Various types of coaching are provided, for example, in areas of stress management, effective communication strategies, work-life balance, conflict resolution and transition, relational matters, work relational issues, time management, parenting and family coaching, and transitional changes. Life and Executive Coaching does not have a mental health focus.
Coaching services are private pay, is not covered by insurance plans, and sessions are pre-paid with a set number of sessions during the coaching contract.


Professional Consulting Services
Consulting services are available to professionals in the medical and mental health fields. Kathy L. Fortner, EdS has prior experience in the management of both the medical and mental health disciplines which includes advanced training and education. Evidenced based methods are utilized for working with individuals and practices to assist the client for assessing needs, then develop a working plan with chosen goals for their desired outcome.
Having access to a consultation professional, with many years of experience, can assist, for example the mental health professional, gain desired results for having an enhanced practice or process cases for insight including other options for care of their client.
Consultation services also can be provided to non-profits for review of their reviewing planned organizational goals then providing guidance for making positive changes within their organization and membership.
Consultation services are provided on a contracted pre-paid hourly rate for an estimated length of time.
