March, 2024 is the launch month for "Insights". The website will contain links to new resource areas regarding EAP, Coaching, and Consulting purposes. April, 2024 welcomes Spring! New ideas for fresh starts, new beginnings with ways to have a creative life to make healthy and positive changes. Have you signed up for the Newsletter? Summer, 2024 has arrived! How are you going to spend your Summer this year? What are your goals now that we are almost through the 2024 year? Maybe time to renew, reevaluate, and be refreshed!
As high school students have just graduated from college, they will be looking toward college in the Fall. Resources are included in this month's focus page. Father's are an important part of a child's life. Resources are provided to learn more about how father's positively impact a child's life. PTSD awareness is essential to be aware of the impact this disorder has on individuals who have experienced various types of trauma. June resources are insightful and worth taking time to review.

During the heat of the Summer, the focus will be on communication skills, conflict resolution, and anger management. How often are people challenged with trying to have others see their point of view in a calm, understood manner? Learning new skills toward mediating conflict is necessary. Anger is a normal emotion, yet at times of conflict, anger is misused. Learning to manage anger in an effective way creates an environment of understanding with processing of feelings and thoughts productively.

August, 2024
The ending of Summer and looking toward Fall during August. As school begins, parents may need resources to help them navigate the start of the school year. Parent Resources Part I is included in our focus page. Another topic often discussed in EAP sessions is the area of grief and loss. Resources are available for the reader this month. Self-esteem work is needed by many individuals who have negative life experiences where they have lowered the self-view. Take time to review this month's topics, and the monthly newsletter sent to subscribers.

September, 2024
As the school year begins, it is time to look at parental stress, resources for parents at the start o the school year, and the mental health awareness month of Suicide Prevention. The book selection for September, 2024 is from Brene Brown, "The Gifts of Imperfection". As the year begins, finding time to plan for the days, weeks, and months ahead can help parents and students of any age have a much better school year with positive change.

October, 2024
The focus for October, 2024 is to have awareness of mental health issues which impact so many each month. October is Mental Health Awareness month. Resources have been added for the reader to review, and gain insight to provide personal education or resources to others.

November, 2024
During November, thoughts turn to gratitude, appreciation, and time with family and friends. Stressors are present with those who are caregivers for those with illness, dementia, and mental illness. Resources are provided for review in this month's newsletter. During the Thanksgiving and upcoming holiday season, family relationships can be a source of stress. Ways to reduce stress are also provided in the newsletter. It is hoped the reader can utilize the contents of both the newsletter and focus to help make their holiday season be one that is memorable in many positive ways.

December, 2024
December is a time to focus on hope, wellness, and managing stress during the holiday season. Days become shorter, hectic times of scheduling and planning, challenges with managing rest, sleep, and healthy eating, and balancing work, life and relationships come into play. Time is needed to focus on what is meaningful and joyful. The information provided in this month's focus provides guides for the reader. The newsletter has additional timely resources for this very special holiday season.
