When contacting Member Services, the client, couple, or family will receive an authorization number, in most instances either before contacting the counselor or after receiving a scheduled appointment time.
Services can only be provided in South Carolina as the counselor is licensed in the state to provide counseling.
EAP services are provided free to the client (individual, couple, family) for a pre-determined number of sessions. The number of sessions are determined by the agreed to contract between your employer and the EAP company or due to the presenting issues noted by the client. Every EAP case may not be suited for EAP services as counseling is solution focused, non-medical counseling (meaning the counseling is to not treat mental health disorders, issues involving court matters, or other medical related services). If during the initial EAP session the counselor determines there is mental health issue, the client will be advised to seek care under their private insurance plan or by private pay resources.
If you wish to contact the counselor about your EAP counseling needs, you may go to the button to contact the counselor to discuss your case.
